You're saying that, for example: If you paste pattern 01 into the playlist then it generates a new pattern 0x? So you have cloned data between two patterns? Shouldn't there be an easy way to get it in there? this CAN'T POSSIBLY be how I'm supposed to use fl studio! When I add my pattern to the playlist, it creates a duplicate pattern in the channel rack! So I then have to take an extra step and delete the sample I loaded in the first place. To put this on my playlist, I click the sample, open it, and drag the wav to the playlist. I go to my channel rack, click 'add sample' then I right click this and select 'load sample' then I get that wav file loaded to the channel rack.

OK, I'm trying to figure stuff out that isn't easy to find a tutorial on, plus I don't want to spend hours sorting through videos that MIGHT address my issue and watch five minutes of impertinent material to get an answer someone could have explained in 30 seconds.ДЇl studio seems pretty intuitive, but I can't seem to find an easy way to add a wav file to the play list, link it to a controller and then adjust it with the mixing board.
