I wouldn't recommend going with anything higher than 4 TPY.ДЄnd of course there's plenty of cosmetic mods that change appearances of soldiers, environments etc but I'll leave those to you since it's a matter of taste. Do what you want, but these mods make the game unbalanced by making your generals essentially immortal (lifespan of 1,000+ turns).
