In the shotgun category, the SASG also has to be considered rather differently. Also, I think it's worth squeezing optimal range wherever possible onto the SVD. Very, very underrated weapon in the game atm.

You'd be surprised at how quickly you can kill even other players with that extra stability on the SVD. The CHD IMO is just not worth giving up that stability. With an angled grip though, it's pretty impressive. The SVD is incredibly accurate, but the stability is not great. Also, I prefer angled grips (stability) on these, including the SVD. The mag would be the same for the SCAR-H family as it already has a large mag, but for the others you're going to want extended mags with CHC and CHD. However, it's quite different for the semi-auto rifle subcategory. The guide here for MMR's for instance applies strictly to the bolt action subcategory, and is spot on. I know you mentioned yourself about changing things up per your own preferences due to specific weapon handling, but I think some of them are worth mentioning.

In the end, you want the weapon to feel how you like it, however in my opinion, this is the best setup for the most damage per bullet in each category: burst, sustain, and handling. If you ever feel like your weapon is difficult to handle, you can always replace different pieces with stability as the main stat or use two-piece Strikers. This information might be well-known out there already, but I wanted to post this in case there were players having a hard time choosing weapon mods.
